Polyurethane waterproof flooring, suitable for terraces and flat concrete roofs, stone, porcelain stoneware, terracotta, and various clay materials.
Colored, walkable waterproofing system for terraces, flat roofs, stone, porcelain stoneware, terracotta, and various clay materials.
The resulting coating thickness is approximately 3 mm.
Substrate Preparation and Project Analysis
Surface Roughening
Roughen the surface by grinding, followed by thorough dust removal using industrial vacuum cleaners.
Verification of Surface Soundness
Remove all loose or non-cohesive areas and restore them using PAVIRAPID or SIVITCOL.
Expansion Joints
If expansion joints or structural cracks are present, create a compensation layer by applying 2 mm of SIGILFLEX along the entire length of the joint, over a width of approximately 50–80 mm.
Tiled Substrates or Presence of Moisture
On tiled substrates or in the presence of moisture (contained or rising), the surface must be coated with ECOFONDO PLUS FIBRATO, a three-component fiber-reinforced primer with vapor-barrier function.
Apply the product in two coats, with a total consumption of 2 kg/m². These coats help remove minor superficial defects such as pinholes or depressions.
Respecting the recoat times, apply a skim coat of FLUIDEPOX, loaded at 50% by weight with Quartz B1, using a trowel. Expected product consumption: 0.4–0.5 kg/m².
While the product is still fresh, broadcast Quartz B1 to saturation (≈2 kg/m²).
Concrete Substrates Free from Moisture
On cohesive concrete substrates free from moisture (content or rising):
- Apply a roller coat of PAVIWATER T68, diluted 1:3 with water, with a consumption of about 50 g/m², depending on substrate absorption.
- Apply a skim coat of FLUIDEPOX loaded at 50% with Quartz B1. Product consumption: 0.25–0.40 kg/m².
- While fresh, broadcast Quartz B1 to saturation (≈2 kg/m²).
Wall–Floor Connection
To prevent water infiltration from the walls, create a cove joint using SIGILFLEX, with a radius of 20 mm.
The waterproofing membrane must be applied continuously from the floor up the wall, with a vertical turn-up of 50–100 mm.
Application
Pour the IMPERMISIVIT MP self-levelling mortar, spreading it with a notched trowel and leveling the surface with a spike roller.
Prepare the mortar by mixing the two components; consumption is 2.2 kg/m².
The IMPERMISIVIT MP coating must be continuous and uninterrupted, extending over all perimeter upstands.
To protect the surface, apply one coat of FINITURA LP in the desired color using a roller, loaded with 10–20% Glass Beads (1:1 mix of fine and coarse beads) depending on the required slip-resistance grade, with a consumption of approximately 0.3 kg/m².
Final Thickness
The resulting coating thickness is approximately 3 mm.
