Skim coating

THICK-FILM SYSTEMS FOR MEDIUM–HEAVY STRESS
Skim-coating systems are produced using pigmented products filled with wear-resistant mineral aggregates, capable of forming a continuous film with a dry thickness ranging from 450 to 1000 μm. The various skim coats are normally applied using dedicated smooth trowels.

Composed of structures ranging from two to four layers, Sivit skim-coating systems offer an excellent balance of mechanical strength, ease of application and durability, allowing intervention on surfaces that have begun to show signs of wear, damage or irregularities.
