Waterborne epoxy self-levelling system with vapour barrier
Self-leveling epoxy cycle colored in aqueous emulsion with a thickness of 2.5 mm to be applied on substrates with rising damp.
Preparation of the substrate
The Concrete Substrate must be solid, dry, levelled, absorbent, not polluted by oils, cleaners, dust or any other substance.
For new concrete substrate, the seasoning time must be respected.
Choose the most convenient mechanical preparation: Grinding or Shot-Blasting. As this is a non-transpirant cycle, verify the presence of a vapour barrier as humidity from ground-up has to be avoided.
Application
- Apply by trowel a coat of ECOFONDO PLUS A+B+C diluted with 15% of water and filled with 10% of QUARTZ B2 with a consumption of 0,750 Kg/m2 of A+B+C.
If necessary to fill the expansion joint with ECOFONDO PLUS filled with QUARTZ B1. Apply by trowel a second coat of ECOFONDO PLUS A+B+C diluited with 15% of water with a consumption of 0,500 Kg/m2 of A+B+C. - Apply a coat of PAVIWATER T68 A+B diluted 1:3 with water for a consumption of 0,050 Kg/m2.
- Apply by notched trowel PAVIPLAST W colored and unifying the surface by spiked roller with a consumption of 4 Kg/m2 of A+B.
- Apply by roller a coat of PAVIWATER colored A+B diluted with 10% of water with a consumption of 0,130 Kg/m2 of A+B.
- Cut the joint in correspondence with the joint of concrete and to seal with polyurethane elastomer SIGILFLEX.
The final thickness of resinous covering is around 2,5 mm.
