Self-Levelling, vapour permeable, reinforced with steel granulates
Self-leveling epoxy cycle colored in aqueous emulsion reinforced with grained steel with a thickness of 2.5-3 mm to be applied on supports that may also have rising damp.
Preparation of the substrate
The Concrete Substrate must be solid, dry, levelled, absorbent, not polluted by oils, cleaners, dust or any other substance.
For new concrete substrate, the seasoning time must be respected.
Choose the most convenient mechanical preparation: Grinding or Shot-Blasting.
Application
- Smooth the surface with ECOFER LB, for a total consumption of 0,7 kg/m2. Applied with american trowel.
- When necessary, seal the expansion joints with ECOFER HB (very low consumption of product). Apply then a layer of self-levelling ECOFER HB with a notched trowel for a consumption of 5,5 kg/m2 of product, properly prepared, and uniforming the surface with a spiked roller to enable the de-airation.
- Apply by roll one or two layers of PAVIWATER (of the colour required), diluted with 10% of water, for a consumption of 0,130 kg/m2 by layer.
- The joints must be cut and sealed with the poly-urethane elastomer SIGILFLEX.
The final thickness of the resinous covering is around 2 mm.
Note
If you are working on old substrates, it is necessary to treat the surface with FLUIDEPOX FLEX for a consumption of 0,5-1,0 Kg/m2 and seed till saturation with Quarzo B2.
