Industria Elettronica - Pavimento antistatico Sivit
Floors in the electronics industry must be able to dissipate the electrostatic charges (ESD) that may occur during the production process.
Sivit has designed a line of products and specific cycles for the realization of resin flooring for this sector able to protect the integrity of electronic components.
The main characteristics of the floors of the electronic industry are the dissipation of electrostatic charges, the mechanical strength, the non-slip properties, the great resistance to abrasion and chemical agents and the impermeability.
More specifically, what is ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)?
This is an electrical discharge caused by the transfer of static electricity from one subject to another. The electrostatic charge can be created in different situations such as rubbing and separation between two different materials. Damage, or interference, may also occur due to very high electric fields.
Now let’s see together the various antistatic application cycles used in this sector:
1. AUT03 – Static-dissipative self-levelling device
Coloured self-levelling cycle, for cementitious supports free from rising humidity, able to dissipate electrostatic charges.
The cycle is based on epoxy resins, with formulations with a high content of solids, for a thickness of 2,5-3 mm.
2. AUT07 – Static-dissipative breathable self-levelling device
Coloured self-levelling cycle, for cementitious supports with rising humidity, able to dissipate electrostatic charges.
The cycle is based on epoxy resins in aqueous emulsion, for a thickness of 2,5-3 mm.
3. MST06 – Static dissipative multilayer
Multi-layer coloured cycle, for cementitious supports free from rising humidity able to dissipate electrostatic charges.
The cycle is based on epoxy resins, with formulations with a high content of solids, for a thickness of about 2 mm.
4. RAS05 – Static-dissipative shaving
Colored shaving cycle, for cementitious supports free of rising moisture able to dissipate electrostatic charges. The cycle is based on epoxy resins, with formulations with a high content of solids, for a thickness of about 1 mm.
5. VER04 – Static-dissipative painting
Colored paint cycle, for cement supports free from rising moisture, able to dissipate electrostatic charges.
The cycle is based on epoxy resins in aqueous emulsion.
