According to the provisions of Reg. (EU) 2020/1149 and art. 227 of Legislative Decree 81/2008, starting from 24 August 2023 it will be mandatory to have a specific license to be able to apply some polyurethane products containing diisocyanates in a concentration > 0.1%.
The license will have to be renewed every 5 years.
Very few Sivit products are involved in this obligation, see the document "Compliance Sivit - Isocyanates", however in construction it is common to find yourself handling this kind of substances. The NCO license is essential for the employees of our sector.

Note. Even in case a specific training is not mandatory, all applicators should have sufficient knowledge of the risks associated with the use of isocyanate-based products. Always consult the Safety Data Sheets and carefully adopt the appropriate individual protection measures for the safe handling of these substances.
