Isocyanate restrictions
Reference: the provisions of Reg. (EU) 2020/1149 and art. 227 of Legislative Decree 81/2008
Starting from August 2023 it will be mandatory to have a specific license to be able to apply some polyurethane products containing diisocyanates in a concentration > 0.1%. Very few Sivit products are involved in this obligation, however we recommend applicators to chose the proper on-line training course.

Environmental Labeling of Packaging

To facilitate the collection, reuse, recovery, and recycling of packaging, as well as to provide consumers with correct information about the final destinations of packaging, Sivit commits to labeling all packaging (primary, secondary, tertiary) with material identification codes. Disposal should be carried out by the user in accordance with the guidelines of their local municipality.
