System for Substrates with Reverse Hydrostatic Pressure up to 5 bar

Coloured multi-layer system for damp substrates.
The system is based on water-emulsified epoxy resins, with a total thickness of approximately 2 mm.

Substrate Preparation

Concrete substrates must be solid, level, absorbent, and free from contamination such as oils, detergents, dust or other substances.
For newly installed screeds, the normal curing time must be respected.
Assess the most suitable type of mechanical preparation: grinding or shot-blasting.

Application

  1. Apply by roller a coat of PAVIWATER T68 epoxy resin, previously diluted 1:3 with water, with a consumption of approximately 0.05 kg/m².
  2. Skim-coat the surface with ECOFONDO PLUS FIBRATO, with a consumption of approximately 1.0 kg/m².
While still fresh, broadcast Quartz B2 to excess at approximately 1 kg/m², ensuring that all unbonded excess quartz is removed the following day.
  3. Apply a skim coat of ECOFONDO ONE, pigmented with 5% Colorpasta W White, with a product consumption of approximately 0.7 kg/m².
  4. Skim-coat with PAVIWATER, loaded with 30% coarse glass beads, with a consumption of approximately 0.20 kg/m².
  5. Apply by roller a coat of PAVIWATER, diluted 10% with water, at a consumption of 0.13 kg/m².
For exterior applications, or where higher chemical resistance is required, use FINISOL COLORATO LUCIDO instead (consumption 0.13–0.15 kg/m²).
  6. Cut the coating along the concrete joints and seal with SIGILFLEX polyurethane elastomer.

The resulting coating thickness is approximately 2 mm.
