Multi-Layer with fire resistant class BFL-S1
Multi-layer epoxy cycle colored with formulations with high solids content, fire reaction class Multi-layer epoxy cycle colored with formulations with high solids content, fire reaction class BFL-S1, 4 mm thick to be applied on substrates free from rising damp. , 4 mm thick to be applied on substrates free from rising damp.
Preparation of the substrate
The Concrete Substrate must be solid, dry, levelled, absorbent, not polluted by oils, cleaners, dust or any other substance.
For new concrete substrate, the seasoning time must be respected.
Choose the most convenient mechanical preparation: Grinding or Shot-Blasting.
As this is a non-transpirant cycle, verify the presence of a vapour barrier as humidity from the ground-up has to be avoided.
Application
- Apply a coat of FLUIDEPOX FIRE RETARDANT, for a consumption of 0,6 kg/m2. When still fresh, seed till saturation the Quarzo B2, in mixed colours, for a consumption of around 2,5-3,0 kg/m2, take away the next day the exceeding Quarzo B2.
- Apply a coat of FLUIDEPOX FIRE RETARDANT, for a consumption of 1,2 kg/m2. When still fresh, seed till saturation the Quarzo B2 (white), for a consumption of around 1,5-2,0 kg/m2, take away the next day the exceeding Quarzo B2.
- Apply a coat of FLUIDEPOX, for a consumption of 0,7 kg/m2.
- Apply a coat of FINISOL CLEAR, for a consumption of 0,15 kg/m2.
- The joints must be cut and sealed with the poly-urethane elastomer SIGILFLEX.
The final thickness of the coating is around 4 mm.
