Preparation of the substrate

The Concrete Substrate must be solid, dry, levelled, absorbent, not polluted by oils, cleaners, dust or any other substance.
For new concrete substrate, the seasoning time must be respected.
Choose the most convenient mechanical preparation: Abrasion or Shot-Blasting.

Application

1. Apply by roll a layer of ECOFONDO, diluted with 10% in weight of water, for a consumption of around 0,30 kg/m².
2. After 48 hours, smoothing of the surface with ECOFONDO, added with 1:0,5 of Quarzo B1, for a consumption of ECOFONDO of about 0,30-0,50 kg/m² . Apply it with the american trowel.
3. Apply by roll a layer of FLUIDEPOX FLEX, for a consumption of around 0,8 kg/m². When still fresh, seed till saturation Quarzo B2, for a consumption of around 3 kg/m², and the next day take away the exceeding quartz.
4. Trimm the surface with PAVIPLAST EPU, added with 1:0,8 of Quarzo B1, for a consumption of PAVIPLAST EPU of around 1,0 kg/m² (0,8 kg/m2 of Quartz).
   Apply it with the american trowel.
5. As final surface finishing, apply by roll a layer of FINISOL COLOR for a consumption of 0,2 kg/m². To improve anti-slip properties, glass micro-spheres can be added.
6. The joints must be cut and sealed with the poly-urethane elastomer SIGILFLEX.

The final thickness of the coating is around 3,0 mm.
