Multi-Layer with Multi-Colour for Outdoor Flooring for car parks
Multi-layer colored epoxy cycle 2 mm thick to be applied on external supports.
Substrate Preparation
Ceramic tiles must be ground until they become matte.
Cement-based composite tiles must be made porous and absorbent through thorough grinding.
Application
- Apply a skim coat of ECOFONDO PLUS FIBRATO, with a consumption of approximately 1.0 kg/m².
- Sand the surface to eliminate the most noticeable irregularities. Skim-coat with FLUIDEPOX FLEX, filled with 30% Quartz B1, with a product consumption of 0.25–0.40 kg/m². Use a smooth steel trowel for application. While still fresh, broadcast Quartz B2 to excess at a rate of 1–1.5 kg/m², making sure to remove any unbonded excess quartz the following day.
- Sand again to eliminate the most noticeable irregularities. Skim-coat the surface with FLUIDEPOX FLEX, filled with 30% Quartz B1 and pigmented with 5% COLORPASTA EPOX, with a consumption of 0.6–0.7 kg/m². Use a smooth steel trowel for application.
- Apply by roller a coat of FINISOL COLORATO loaded with 20% glass beads (mix of fine and coarse), with a consumption of approximately 0.15 kg/m².
- Apply by roller a second coat of FINISOL COLORATO loaded with 20% glass beads (mix of fine and coarse), with a consumption of approximately 0.15 kg/m².
- Cut the coating along the concrete joints and seal with SIGILFLEX polyurethane elastomer.
The resulting coating thickness is approximately 2 mm.
