Waterborne epoxy product
Two-component epoxy adhesion promoter. Suitable for joints between fresh and hardened concrete or as primer for water-based epoxy-cementitious coatings.

Description
Two-component product based on epoxy-polyamide resins in aqueous vehicle, similar and compatible with hydraulic binders.
Use
Adhesion promoter for gluing new cement to old cement. Primer for epoxy-cementitious coatings and water-based epoxy enamels.
Consolidating agent for floury surfaces.
Support
The substrate must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm2 and a tensile strength of 1.5 N/mm2.
Preparation of the support
Concrete bases must be solid, absorbent, not polluted by oils, dust or other substances.
Check the most convenient type of mechanical preparation (abrasive, shot peening or milling) and then proceed with the application.
Application
At the time of application, combine the 2 components and mix carefully until a clear increase in viscosity is obtained.
At this point dilute as needed:
as a promoter of adhesion on cls. absorbent add 1.5 parts of water to one part of the product and apply 1 kg/m2 of diluted mixture
as a primer for paints and as an impregnating agent for concrete add 3 parts of water to 1 part of the product and apply 0,40 kg/m2 of diluted mixture
Use the entire contents quickly, applying by water pusher, brush or low pressure spraying roller.
Attention: as an adhesion promoter, cementitious coatings (cast in concrete, rough coat or other) must be carried out immediately, after the application of PROMOCOL, before the applied product polymerizes.
The coating with water-based resinous coatings, on the other hand, must be done when the product is out of touch.
