Surface treatment to consolidate the concrete substrate
The cycle has the function of anti-dust impregnating agent for concrete surfaces.
The film obtained has good mechanical characteristics and good resistance to solvents.
Preparation of the surface
Old substrates will have to be solid, dry, flat, absorbent, and not polluted by oils, cleaning agents, powders or other substances. For the brand new concrete substrates , the seasoned time must be respected. Choose the most convenient mechanical preparation: abrasion or grinding.
Application
- Apply by roll, one layer of epoxy resin PAVIWATER T68 A+B, previously diluted with water in the ratio of 1 to 3, for a consumption of around 0,050 kg/m2 of product A+B.
- Apply a second layer of PAVIWATER T68 A+B, diluted with water in the ratio of 1 to 1,5, for a consumption of around 0,050 kg/m2 of product A+B.
Important
After the anti-dust treatment, as the absorbing of the concrete floor is not uniform, you might have few areas more bright than others; moreover, all the spots of the background will be seenable. In order to obtain a uniform colour, it is necessary to choose a colour paint.
