Preparation of the substrate
Concrete substrates must be solid, dry, levelled, absorbent, and free from contamination such as oils, detergents, dust, or any other substances. For newly applied screeds, the normal curing time must be respected.
Evaluate the most suitable mechanical preparation: abrasion or fine-grit grinding.
Application
- Apply one coat of the epoxy resin PAVIWATER T68 by roller, previously diluted 1:3 with water, with a product consumption of approximately 0.05 kg/m².
- Apply a second coat of PAVIWATER T68, diluted 1:1.5 with water, with a product consumption of approximately 0.05 kg/m².
The resulting thickness of the coating is negligible.
Important
After the anti-dust treatment, as the absorbing of the concrete floor is not uniform, you might have few areas more bright than others; moreover, all the spots of the background will be seenable. In order to obtain a uniform colour, it is necessary to choose a colour paint.
