SIVITCOL® A+B
Epoxy poly-aminoamide putty, easy to use
Solvent-free two-component epoxy putty with excellent filling and adhesion properties on various substrates. Suitable for filling non-structural cracks, reconstructing edges and filling holes and cavities on industrial floors.
Type: Epoxy Compound
Description
Two-component product based on epoxy resins and amino- polyamide hardeners, specially designed to be easy to use (the 2 components must be dosed in equal volume parts).
It has no shrinkage and a low tendency to leak. After hardening it can be sanded or sanded.
It offers secure adhesion on various substrates:
- Cement
- Iron
- Ceramics
- Bricks
- Glass
- Wood
- Insulation materials
Use
Grouting of non-structural cracks.
Filling holes and cavities on industrial floors. Shaving of uneven surfaces.
Reconstruction of edges.
Re-gluing tiles, marble and other artifacts.
Grouting holes, embedding nails, dowels or screws.
Support
The substrate must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm2 and a tensile strength of 1,5 N/mm2.
Preparation of the support
Carefully clean the surfaces to be restored, removing all traces of sludge, inconsistent parts and dust, until a completely revived surface is obtained.
If the substrate is floury, it is necessary to consolidate with FLUIDEPOX or FIBROPROTEX PRIMER.
Application
SIVITCOL is supplied in 2 components of different colors (black and white): simply take volumes of equal parts from the two packages A and B. Then mix the 2 components carefully with a spatula, until a uniform gray color is obtained.
The product is thus ready for use and must be used immediately.
After removing the quantity, close the containers without polluting one mixture with another: the product can then be stored as provided under the storage conditions.
Product consumption is about 1.15 kg/m2 per 1 mm thickness.
N.B.: Do not use the components separately for any reason.
