PAVIRAPID® A+B
High resistance two-component epoxy mortar. Shrinkage-free, it allows the repair of holes and cavities in concrete floors and the reconstruction of joints.
Type: Epoxy Compound
Description
PAVIRAPID is supplied in a package containing:
- Part "A" - formulated based on epoxy resins, quartz aggregates in granulometric curve, pigments and additives
- Part "B" - amino hardener
The mortar obtained from the mixing of parts A and B has a "moist earth" consistency and is not subject to shrinkage and settling.
The applied product has a rapid development of mechanical resistance, up to obtain excellent values.
Use
Restoration of eroded and crumbling floors.
Reconstruction of joints by "joist method".
Filling holes on concrete floors, resin floors or tiles.
Support
The substrate must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm2 and a tensile strength of 1,5 N/mm2.
Preparation of the support
Carefully clean the surfaces to be restored, removing all traces of sludge, inconsistent parts and dust, until the surface is completely revived.
On inconsistent substrates it is good to apply a recovery of FLUIDEPOX for a consumption of 0.500 kg/m2.
To proceed with the application of PAVIRAPID it is not necessary to wait for the hardening of the primer, intervening "fresh on fresh".
Application
At the time of application, pour the contents of component B into the container of component A and mix carefully for 2 minutes using appropriate equipment (propeller drill), until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
To obtain a perfect mixing it is good to transfer the mixture into another container and mix further for 1 minute. Pour the mortar, leveling and smoothing with American trowel. To work better keep the tool clean with rag wet with water.
Product consumption is about 5.6 kg/m2 per 3 mm thickness.
Warning
Avoid preparing partial mixtures of the product in order not to incur accidental errors, which could lead to incomplete hardening.
