Description
Epoxy product with very low yellowing and high gloss. COLORSIVIT EPOX CLEAR TIX is characterized by an optimal viscosity that allows the application as a smoothing, even vertically. It gives a glimpse of the background, in this way drawings or decorative effects can be incorporated.
Use
"Depth effect" for decorative surfaces. Intermediate for porous substrates before the application of transparent casting formulations.
Support
The surface must be solid, dry, free from oils, detergents, powders or other release substances.The temperature of the substrate must be >15°C.
Preparation of the support
On resinous flooring the perfect adherence of the coating must be verified; If so, abrasive and proceed to application.
Application
At the time of application, combine the components in a single container and mix slowly and homogeneously for at least two minutes. Carefully respect the ratio by weight.
Apply COLORSIVIT EPOX CLEAR TIX using an American trowel for a consumption of 0.35 kg/m2. Thicknesses greater than 0.3 mm are not recommended, which could compromise transparency.
Warnings
COLORSIVIT EPOX CLEAR TIX coatings exposed to sunlight may undergo fading or color variations with a turn towards yellow: this fact does not affect the performance of the coating in any way.
Between different production batches of the same color there may be slight differences: when it is possible to use material from the same batch. For low temperature applications, the material can be heated to 25°C for easy application and catalysis (viscosity decrease).
Product for professional use, the buyer undertakes to follow the above warnings in the application of the purchased product and the instructions in the safety data sheet.

| Environmental conditions of use | Temperatures between +15°C and +30°C, R.H. < 50% and media humidity < 4% COLORSIVIT EPOX CLEAR TIX applied at substrate temperatures below 15°C could stain in contact with water, or with water-based preparations, and form whitish spots. Such a defect in chemical resistance is caused by incomplete cross-linking. Therefore, COLORSIVIT EPOX CLEAR TIX should be applied at a substrate temperature not lower than 15°C and at least 3°C higher than the condensation temperature. |
