FLUIDEPOX® PIASTRELLE A+B
Epoxy primer for tiled substrate
It is used to facilitate the adhesion of the resin formulations on the tiles and allows you to seal any cracks before creating a coating.
It is characterized by excellent adhesion, excellent surface impermeability and fair flexibility even at low temperatures.

Description
Two-component product based on epoxy resins, used in combination with polyamide hardeners, it has excellent adhesion on tiles and a fair flexibility even at low temperatures.
Use
Primer to facilitate the adhesion of resin coatings on tiles.To seal cracks before performing a coating.
Support
The substrate must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm2 and a tensile strength of 1,5 N/mm2
Preparation of the support
It is necessary to check that there are no rising humidity. If the substrate is newly built, you will have to wait for complete maturation.
The surface must be solid and free from the presence of oils, surfactants, water, dust.
Any inconsistent parts will have to be removed.
Flooring must be treated mechanically, by abrasiveness, shot peening or milling.
Application
At the time of application, combine part "A" and part "B" in a single container and mix carefully (for 2 minutes) using a mechanical stirrer.
FLUIDEPOX PIASTRELLE It can be applied in several ways:
- with trowel or blade, pure or loaded with QUARTZ B0
- roller, pure or diluted with 5-10% of Ethyl Alcohol or UNI Solvent
On FLUIDEPOX PIASTRELLE as soon as it is applied, distribute QUARZO B1, B2 or B3 for sowing, until the product is completely covered (consumption 2-3 kg/m2 ).
On difficult substrates to reinforce with glass fiber mesh of 100g. In this case the consumption of FLUIDEPOX PIASTRELLE is about 1 kg/m2 .
Warnings
For low temperature applications, the material can be heated to 25°C for easy application and catalysis (viscosity decrease).
Product for professional use, the buyer undertakes to follow the above warnings in the application of the purchased product and the instructions in the safety data sheet.
