FLUIDEPOX® CASTING A+B
Product epoxy grouting
Solvent-free, it allows excellent adhesion on iron or concrete supports.
The low temperature reached by the mixture during hardening and its long life time mean that Fluidepox casting has a low volumetric shrinkage.
Type: Epoxy Binders
Description
Two-component epoxy product without solvents with excellent adhesion on iron and cement.
The main feature of FLUIDEPOX CASTING is the low volumetric shrinkage: this characteristic is given by the low exothermic peak value that is reached during hardening and by the long pot-life (life time of the mixture).
Use
The low exothermy of the reaction allows to realize casting masses without problems of volumetric shrinkage.
Support
The substrate must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm2 and a tensile strength of 1,5 N/mm2 .
Preparation of the support
Concrete surfaces. they must be solid, absorbent and free from the presence of pollutants.
After abrasive the substrate, apply a FLUIDEPOX primer to saturate the porosity of the cement.
Surfaces made of ferrous material must be carefully prepared in order to eliminate calamine residues.
Application

To obtain an optimal result the material must be at a temperature around 25-30 °C.
At the time of application, combine the two components in a single container and mix carefully with a mechanical stirrer. To the mixture A+B add 80% by weight of QUARZO B0 (0.06- 0.25).
Strain the material into the volume to be filled.
Warnings
For low temperature applications, the material can be heated to 25°C for easy application and catalysis (viscosity decrease).
Product for professional use, the buyer undertakes to follow the above warnings in the application of the purchased product and the instructions in the safety data sheet.
